Week 2 Training-Recap

Week 2 went 100% better than Week 1. I stuck to my schedule for the most part and worked hard in each work out. See below for the round up!

Sunday was my first long run in a while. I did 6 Miles. I decided to run on the Schuylkill River Trail which runs along most of Philadelphia and leads to Kelly Drive. It was a tough run because it was insanely hot and humid. Luckily, Kelly Drive has a good amount of trees and shade. The views are gorgeous and theres interesting sculptures along the drive.  I almost gave up and turned around a few times, but I told myself to run to the angels. I finally made it to the angels! On my way back I wanted to stop at mile 5, but I stuck to it and felt amazing when my mile hit 6 Miles. Well I mostly felt exhausted, but really good too. Hopefully Week 3 will be as strong as Week 2.
